OP, we've had the piri piri chicken a couple of times. Yes, very tasty but HOT HOT HOT. Definitely not subtle!

    I've been Money Tipped!
Mine is the diced beef, rest as in OP. (North East)
Not too sure whether to get a pack or two now to make pies??

The lidl Piri Piri chicken is a firm favourite for us, much better than the Aldi versions. You just have to take it in turns as to who get the fatter 'end' Sauce is strong but great to mix with a bit of mash and some steamed veg and you got a decent dinner for 2 cheap as chips but doesn't taste cheap.

I have been in Lidl today hammering the XXL deals, loo rolls are good.
The Pork loin medallions are very lean and 2KG for £10 is a freezer filler!
always loved the frozen fishcakes, especially the Cod ones, lots of lovely herbs in them and you get one extra in the XXL pack.

Missed out on the huge 1litre shower gels (£1.29), all gone, we often get them and use them to refill the regular sized ones.

Washing powder XXL is huge 100 washes for 9 p each.

Only went in to get the wall clock, radio controlled so sets itself and has space in the frame for your own photos, quite big and nice for £10!

Normally what ever is posted on here is what we get so I was looking forward to Piri Piri - but no this week in lancashire we get different grrrrrrrrrr

    300g Pembrookshire cheese £1.39
    20 Daffodils £1
    250g Castle dairies butter 68p
    80 Glengetti t-bags £1.09

Its a welsh theme for next week it seems we are closer to the borders lol

Yep in lancashire here with the same list. The cheese looks ok and the butter is a good price so may stock up and freeze some for future use.

I will be able to combine the lorne sausage and tomatoes from Lidl with the little gem lettuce and spring onions from Aldi next week :T :D

I'm intrigued - do you do something with lorne sausage other than use it as part of a fry up or fling it in a roll with lots of tomato / brown sauce?

I fling it in a roll with tomato, onion and lettuce :)
I also cook and dice it to have with a plate salad :D

or at least I would have done if the shop had not changed the offer
I got there this morning and the Lorne offer had been changed to smoked sausage ring, not amused :(
  • Ty OP - the crisps are actually really nice and v. Good value at just over 4p a packet.

Got tomatoes, which are quite big and tasty! :)

Exactly the same for me! Either we shop at the same store, or there was some supply issue, no lorne sausage anywhere in sight!
