L&S is no easier to "fix" than an app but it's easier to get away with the "fix" on an app.

You may be right, but the ones I've thought for sure were fixed were L&S ones. In fairness, I've not seen any winner photoes from app comps, but it struck me as a teeny bit odd that (for example) an iPad competition run by a diet & fitness company in Dublin which was open to all of UK and Ireland, happened to be won by a lady from Dublin. Similarly with that ring competition. They're the main two that stuck in my head. At the end of the day, pretty much any comp is easy to fix, FB or elsewhere, if the promoter was that way inclined.

That's exactly it, like and share gives you a chance to spot "the fix is in" while the apps (which are just as easy to fiddle) don't.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
If they ask you to like, share & comment I've been asking where the app is to make the draw in line with facebook rules,

my BFF does loads of likes & shares & I don't know how she keeps track of them all to go back & check if she has won

I think if we all did this maybe it would get better, I hate bombarding friends with comps

    **Newbie alert**

If you customise your share options on Facebook to ensure you are only sharing with yourself will your entry still count. It seems to register ok when I've done so in the past.

Only asking as I too dislike publicly broadcasting every time I enter a competition. Twitter is little better, my friends have threatened to unfollow as there fed up with all my re-tweets :(

This was posted by Litecraft today:

Here is this weeks Like it, Share it, Win it Litecraft competition!! Get liking for your chance to win one of these lovely lights!! ..... When sharing, it's best to check your privacy settings as we are struggling to see some shares if your account is private, which means your share wont be included in the draw at the end of the competition. Thanks guys and good luck!!!

Proves shares need to be set to 'public'
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea
