Help with Drayton Digistat SCR!!

Hi,
Ive just broken my drayton digistat receiver and now I have no heating! Too be honest i dont really want the digistat anyway so does anyone know how to disable the digistat and just use the boiler normally?
I really dont want to pay for a plumber to come out!!!

no you can't you must have a room stat although it doesn't have to be a wireless one, iflo (from city plumbing supplies) is a re-badged drayton but cheaperI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

Its the room stat, not the receiver, the battery clip broke. I have tried to celotape it but no good!0

Have you tried pressing the overide button on the receiver ?0

If the room stat has broken - it's likely you could simply obtain a compatible replacement, and pair it with the one in the wall.0
