You can have the cards returned to you rather than going direct so can hand write elements that way. I had a vague memory of one provider allowing you to upload a signature but then you have the problem of ensuring it has a true white background
The challenge of this business is the printing. The creating the cards online is the relatively simple bit. I do know someone who managed to get a printer interested but they found getting the artwork with the right licenses at the right price was actually their biggest challenge.
You'll simply need to hit the streets and contact as many printers as you can to see if anyone bites. You may need to agree to a minimum volume to get anyone interested at a price that will work for you.0 -
Very droll.
I don't know why everyone is getting so chippy about this. I know plenty about printing - I could print these myself - but I thought I'd ask if there was a better way.
It's not a traditional card-selling structure, the market is clogged with those already, it's a different model, and I thought I could get some sensible advice here.
I am glad you are taking my comment wellish.
In all seriousness though perhaps posting on the tech forum would get better results. Only advice I would give is to always to have spare capacty with regard to your printers in case one breaks down as it will.0 -

You might have half the answer there! Would it be viable to buy the printer and materials required? If so then finding a way of "automating" the process so you don't have to do it yourself may be trivial. As long as the machine could be operated from a back bedroom there are loads of people of the type on the "up your income" board who would probably work on an ad hoc basis and print out what you send them and pop to the post office daily. Naturally this would only work for low volume but when you build the business and need a high volume printer more doors will become open to you.0
