What is counted as income when being assessed for adult dependants grant?

Hi, my husband as been awarded adults dependants grant - I was wondering when assessing my income do they only count my job as income or do child tax credits count also? Just a bit concerned as we have had a hefty increase in our tax credits this year compared to our estimate, worried this will mean we will have to pay back some or all of the grant. Thanks for any replies!
