Good news for RA sufferers

http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2013/02/130208124741.htm

Great news for people with Rhumatoid Athritis.

There has been so much research over the past 10 years into this debilitating condition.

Lets hope this can signal the start of significant changes for people who have to deal with this everyday.

The full journal report is here.

I'm hoping this may have the ability to help other chronic pain conditions, or at least provide information which could lead to further research into other chronic pain conditions.

This is _FAR_ from great news.

It's great news if you're a mouse with arthritus.
Progressing to human trials is likely to take a decade, and actual available pills - even longer - if it in fact works in humans, and doesn't cause major issues.

The journal report actually documents possible human trials within 12 months.

The research was started as an advancement of the immunoglobulin trials that have taken place for the treatment of chronic pain.

Personally having read the journal and not just the report, the results they have has already look significant.
