Morning all, lovely sunshine here and I've even put washing on the line. Had a good clean and tidy of the house yesterday and DD and DH did some gardening.m Determined to have a nice garden this year even if we only get to sit in it for a few days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Need to put WM on again when they've finished showering and then have school work to do:( Roast chicken for dinner so hopefully we will get another meal out of that for Monday, the menfolk are so greedy about meat I will have to re-train them as we will have to cut our food budget when I retire. Hope everyone has a good day and hugs to all in need esp jools, LW , Molly and hilstep. Redruby that place looks amazing, I am so jealous I would love to go to Africa, glad DD is having a good time, I'm sure she will even enjoy the church service as they are usually a lot more jolly then english churches.
Hope you had a good day with your DDs JackieO sharing your memories. Judi hope you and DH have a better day Enjoy your Sunday all:)£180.00 in 'sistercas'fund
Hope is like the sun, which, as we journey toward it, casts the shadow of our burden behind us.

Morning All
Had to go to the diabetic clinic on Friday and they were not happy that my blood sugar was off the scale, so they have increased my meds to 1g of metformin twice a day to try to get my blood sugar down as quickly as they can and I have to do a glucose test before and after every meal. The nurse will ring me on Monday or Tuesday to see if the levels are starting to drop.
I had three letters from the hospital, one to say that my appointment had been cancelled, another to say that it had been brought forward and the other one was to see an optometrist on the same day that I see the ophthalmologist ............The date 2 April, my birthday, what a way to spend it
I must admit to having a bit of a breakdown yesterday and just sat and cried, I just wanted to be left alone for a while to get my head together.
We had a frost last night, but it is lovely clear and dry today, so I have washing on the line.
I feel a bit more myself, I have got the denial and the poor me stage out of the way and now have to get on with it.
Hester sorry that work is jerking you about
Jools (((((((Hugs)))))))
Rosy (((((((Hugs)))))))
Off to Asda in a while so BFN xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Morning all!
Wooly headed this morning, fed up not sleeping, but the sun is out, so I think once I am organised will find somewhere for a walk! DS's floordrobe currently in WM as cat overindulged in chicken and barfed on it!
Well, better get in the shower before the sun disappears, have a good day all!RIP Iain

Sunny here. Off round the park in a minute. I'm looking out just now and there is someone with a collie puppy teaching it to chase a stick. It is mostly black with a white tip on its tail. Very cute!
Going to take a walk up into town later and have a drink in the sunshine. Very touristy thing to do - fab
We have youngest DSS and his girlfriend coming for a few days on Tuesday so I will be doing an easy menu plan. We get in just after 5pm so that's nice and early.
Some ironing to do later, work trousers and a couple of tops. I started yesterday, did 2 blouses, 1 T shirt and a table cloth and then switched the iron off
. Ah well, it'll get done today.
Steak pie for Sun lunch so that's nice and easy too. Seems to be a nice and easy theme going here!
take care all

Hubby has a day off from Hestering here, lol, he's busy in the garden aleady.
They have my sympathy; we were without heating or hot water over Xmas, as the boiler turned up its toes, closely followed by the immersion heater. Hope the engineer fixes it quickly for them.:oMy dd and DGS are staying over tonight. Their boiler is on the blink and the engineer can't get the part until Monday so they have no heating or hot water, it will be nice to have them.
(((HUG))) Aww, sweetie, when things go wrong they do it in battalions.:( Why not have a weeny raincheck on the birthday and celebrate on 3rd instead? Or you're welcome to have another celebration on April 20 (my birthday):o - see, that's just chucking a 0 on the end of the date.;)Butterfly_Brain wrote: »Morning All

Afternoon/evening everyone
Brilliant weather in the north of scotland where I am.
Been to Asda & Hobbycraft & got a few things.
The last of thebird seed & some apples put out for the birds.
A couple of loads of washing done. Ironing pile now done & put away.
Poppy the Cat has also enjoyed the weather today.
Some of the windows have been opened & the nose art by the cat on them have been cleaned & the bathroom have been given a clean as well (including the cupboards)
Chicken curry & rice will soon be going on for dinner, along with a glass of wine
Enjoy the evening everyone0 -
Evening All
BB - Hugs to you, that's a lot to take in all at once. At least you have a 'date' for your birthday!!
Monnogran - The wedding sounds like it was fun, just the way it should be, well done to all involved.
RR - Your DD sounds to be having a great time.
Went up to Glasgow, did food shopping at T£sco and also got myself and DD a pair of work trousers, gosh the price of their clothing has gone up.
Then went for a wander round town and went for lunch, bought my friend a nice pair of earrings for her 50th (DD gets a 10% discount) so that's done. Bought some new towels that were desperately needed too.
Nothing much for tea as we ate out, washing dried outside as it was lovely and sunny today. Take care. XX0 -

Judi - hope things are better at home x xx
take care all xDo what you love :happyhear0
