Beware Stolen Car Reward £1000

Options
Car salesman in chesterfield has car stolen whilst on test drive, recently this has happened at Garages in Sheffield and Harrogate also.
So if you are selling your car privately beware, get a copy of their driving licence etc

Identify the voice that is on you tube of the thief and you could get £1000 reward if it leads to a prosecution

Type Telephone call leading to stolen car (Autoworld) £1000

Thank you

Just so you know, it's on offence to offer a reward for the return of stolen property. I'm not even joking.

And the rest of your post makes no sense whatsover.

Only if the notice of reward includes an offer of immunity from prosecution - something like "no questions asked" - or offers to repay any loss incurred by the person returning it. In this case the reward is offered if it leads to prosecution, which is allowed.

Yep, can't argue with that :D

My brother had an incident some years ago, guy turns up to look at a Toyota land cruiser, as soon as he gets the keys he drives it straight at my brother, through a fence and off down the street. Turned out the same guy had been doing the same thing, with the same type of car, up and down the country and nobody had even issued a warning. Cars probably ended up somewhere in Africa or the middle east.

I once had a dealer hand me the keys to a nice Merc to take for a test drive. I loved it so much i lost track of time and when i came back,he did have quite a look of relief on his face.
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

I've test drove a couple of cars and both times had to leave my driving license with them. Although not really safe since a fake driving license can be purchased for a tenner

Obviously the recording (though surprisingly clear and comprehensive) is just the dealer letting the scumbag know that there is evidence that is going to put that particular knuckle-dragger away and is a warning for others not to take the £50 from the weasel actually organising these thefts. Traders are very well skilled in keeping their hands on the keys until their bum is on the seat and for the casual, "here sir, take it for a spin", you will have been through the traders silent tick list.
I'm sure there is more involved in this theft and I hope no-one lost teeth over it and the trader gets their car back in one piece (or the v/x owner with the new engine asks why the change was so cheap).

Post makes perfect sense, A large tin of a meaty sandwich filling?

I have also had a dealer give me his trade plates and the keys, I did wonder if he wanted me to steal the car, But the plates surely he wouldnt want me to steal them also?

Maybe he had spares? He wasnt crying or shaking his head in his hands when i got back so who knows.
