Just bought a new Fuji F800 camera, i am looking for a suitable battery for it to take on holiday but i begrudge paying for a Fuji battery, so can someone recommend a decent replacement please.

Try on Ebay. Most of my batteries for camera/videocam/mobile phone have come from there at a good price even the brand names. Failing that if the price is not what you're looking for do a search for a compatible battery type for the Fuji.Back on the trains again!0

I seen some on ebay, but the buyers claim that they are poor fitting, some too tight some too small.0

I would buy a proper one or a way of charging it on the go.
Cheap batteries on ebay are probably fakes. No matter how real they look.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
I bought a non branded for my Samsung camera and it only holds about a third of the charge. So be aware of that if you buy unbranded, I only needed it for one extra day at a festival last year, so it was fine for me. But some people may want a battery to last the same time as the one supplied, in which case get an official one0
