Latest Iplayer update on Android

I've just downloaded this on my Samsung Galaxy W and now when i tap the app, it say "application is not installed on your phone".

Anyone else had this problem?

Do you have a shortcut to the app on your homescreen or are you opening from the app drawer? If the former, you might just need to recreate the shortcut.

I have some apps do the same as above, The old shortcut is greyed out but still lingers?
Usually apps i have moved to the SD card and the update puts it back on the phone.

But the PC version if the iplayer killed itself the other day. Down to adobe air and iplayer updating at the same time.

When they get so many complaints going back months it makes you wonder who tests the updates and why they dont roll back?

The iPlayer icon disappeared completely on my phone & tablet.
Just had to drag it out again from the App drawer.
I guess it's a completely new App, rather than an update that does that.
