Hi folks,
I am generating a website using netobjects fusion and I would like to simply insert a blog on the home page. I had a look at Wordpress and it looks really complicated to set up and it seems inflexible in terms of the blog "being" the whole website.
Is there a simple way of having a separate blog contained within a frame linked to say a blog on blogger.com???
Any tips appreciated,
Jools

I installed wordpress this week on a friend's website. It was amazingly easy to do, I've never installed a blog before. It was a case of copying the install files, making some changes to the setup file (so that it could connect to the database), then running the setup. I had it running in a directory called /blog, rather than on the main page, just needed a bit of tweeking. Don't think the whole process took more than 30 minutes to do.

I use wordpress as my 'whole site' and find it realatively easy to set up and maintain. The hardest thing is theming and making everything fit together visually.
You can use static pages for fixed content on your site and the rest of the information is dynamically created from the database.
There are also a multitude of plugins and things which further enhance functionality making it even easier to get things done.
If you want a link to my site as an example, PM me as I'm not sure its ok to post links.
