Asda have taken the same payment twice!

Whilst checking through the last couple of week's spends, I noticed Asda charged us £19 twice last week for a single £19 transaction for some DVD's.
I don't have the receipt from the spend, I think I left it in the bag when I put it in the bin! I contacted my bank who have said that they can't do anything for 15 working days, so that Asda have the chance to rectify their mistake!
I was told by my bank not to contact Asda, but to wait and call my bank back in 15 days so that they could begin their investigations.
Is this correct? It's an unauthorised transaction, so I assumed my bank would be able to deal with it straight away, but clearly not!
Any advice would be appriciated.
Thanks

Contact Asda - they can't do anything if they are not aware of the problem.0

Thanks cockaleekee! I have contacted Asda, but they have said that without the receipt they can't do anything without an investigation! It sounds like I'm going to be running around in circles to get this refunded!0

Surely they can track down the transactions on the till and easily rectify! especially if they know the time and date of transaction0

They don't and thats the issue!!! My bank account shows it left the account on the 4/2, but I KNOW it went through either on the 2nd or 3rd anytime between 6pm and 8pm. I'm totally confused as to what to do!0
