I changed to a meter, my water is now £17 per month. It was £39. I also have an EcoCamel shower head, it hasnt really affected my showers performance, my water bill hasn't risen in 2 years so it might be working !0

Thanks meer53 I was looking at the EcoCamel and the Nordic something or other. Couldn't decide which you have made my mind up for me.0 -
You can also just use a flow limiter at the inlet to your shower head if you want to reduce the flow and don't want to change the showerhead. They should only be used for mixer showers (not electric showers). They are around £5 which is a lot cheaper than most eco showerheads.
I can't post the link but if you search "bristan 6 litres per minute shower outlet flow limiter" you can find an example of one. They come in varying flow rates but anything under 6 litres starts to be a bit of a dribble.0 -
Thanks blogger57 I will look now.0
