Transfering audio books to mp3 player

Hi I've downloaded a book from books should be free website and it's amongst my downloads as a zip file -can someone tell me how to get it onto my sansa mp3 player-do I have to change the file ? or put it through windows media player ?

A zip file is a compressed file used to send longer files or bunches of individual files through the intertubes. You will need to unzip the file to extract the individual file(s) inside
Normally just right click the file in windows explorer and choose extract all
