It's always good to see the first signs of life returning to the garden.

    Oh how lovely!

I was out this morning and saw a butterfly. A big red one like a tortoiseshell or red admiral. Gorgeous it was. I hope there isn't another cold snap.

My garden is full of them too - they look so pretty. Can't wait to get back into gardening again. I hate seeing everything so brown and dreary out there over the winter.

This year I just can't wait for spring. Daffs are out round here now. OH brings them home for me so I have lots :D he's in the gardening line of work and he says he'd rather bring them back for me than destroy them with the strimmer!

Snowdrops have been out for around 2-3 weeks here at the moment. Crocuses haven't appeared yet, or daffs.

I love seeing the first signs of spring on there way. I have snow drops in my garden too. My neighbour has a beautiful front garden and it will come to life in the next few weeks.

Here we are at 5.30 and it is not yet dark too :j
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.

Daffs in my garden just starting to all poke through now!
  • I just noticed some coming out in ours earlier when I looked out the kitchen window earlier. Our rocket is getting a fair bit of bounce back as well
It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.

Duffs and snowdrops are out in North East Somerset, in fact when I was out walking the dogs at 6.30 this morning the birds were singing very loud. It's great to know spring is on its way :j
