Faulty trainers advice please

Hope someone can give me a bit of advice here please?
Two weeks ago my daughter bought a pair of trainers, they've not been worn but she noticed that part of them is actually coming apart. Today she took them back, the girl on the till agreed that they were faulted and she'd exchange them but would need to speak to the manager first. A woman came out and said they aren't faulted and therefore they weren't going to do anything, even tho you can clearly see that part of the seam is actually coming apart. My daughter then said she wanted a refund because it states on their reciept that you can have a refund on unused good within 28 days, she's even refused to do that and has stated that she going to do nothing, walked away and has left my daughter with a pair of faulted trainers.
Anyone any ideas what I can do now, assuming anything can be done?

Can you tell us which shop?0

Take them into another branch if you can and ask for a refund from there.0

Try another branch, if no joy write a letter of complaint. Next time use a proper sports or running shop not a fashion store if they are trainers for a sporting activity.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
