Canada Square, formerly Egg

I have received a letter today from the above regarding PPI on my previous Egg loans, asking if I want the sale of the ppi reviewed. I assume they are pre-empting ppi refund claims.... but I have already sucessfully claimed my PPi back from Egg about 3 years ago. Surely they would have a record of who has been refunded already - why would they write out to me again? Just wondering if their records are incomplete - is it worth filling in the questionnaire? perhaps they'll refund me again:rotfl: (doubt it). Anyone else had the same letter???

Obviously, they just have your name on the database of those that might have been affected by a widespread fault they've identified. The Banks have agreed to be pro-active in this way.

Of course, if you "complain" again, your name will also be on a separate record as having already received redress.

You could try again, I guess it wouldn't be much different to the 50% of complaints they receive from people who didn't have PPI!;)

What hypocrisy or is this just snobbery? You frown upon people that don't know they have PPI but encourage those who have already received a pay out to reclaim. lol

Surely you realise that my post above was sarcasm?
