Help with '53 Jag. Dipped headlight advice needed

Hi. We have just bought a '53 x Type Jag. The dipped headlight as stopped working I have changed to a new bulb and it is still not.working. We are in Spain and it has been working fine.
I would be really grateful of any advice. Thank you

While you might have a duff new bulb, try looking around the wiring harness as overheating and melting isn't uncommon here.0

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment . We only arrived in Sain yesterday and it had been working fine on the way down. The bulb has only gone on one side.

Problem solved. Duff new bulb so another one bought at the garage and all fixed. Thank goodness it was something so simpleTry and do a good deed every day.0
