Google Wallet..charged twice!

I had ordered a Nexus 7 tablet but a few days after receiving the tablet, they sent out another tablet and charged me for it too.
We contacted them to return it, they accepted that it was an error on their part. and get but now we are into the second week since intent to return has been made. We are waiting on the return label which we should have had by now but there was (apparently) a misunderstanding between them and the shipping company.
Apart from the frustration that its taking them so long what really upsets me is that they were able to take money from my account when it wasn't authorised by us.
I'm sure this is illegal for a company to do so, their relaxed attitude towards correcting their error is what really upsets me...no apology was made for this.
My question is..Do they have the right to charge my account even though I hadn't ordered it? What further action can be taken?

They don't have the right to charge your card twice.
Your further action is to talk to your bank or card issuer. If the retailer won't sort it out, the bank may be able to.0
