Rights if a good damages property

I bought a large boxed item from Argos. No bags were big enough, therefore I had to carry it out of the shop. The weather was slightly drizzley and on reaching home I realised the ink on the box had run all over the front of a fairly new coat. After contacting them I was told they would do nothing. Do I have any rights here?
