UKCPS ltd and Court proceedings ltd

As seen on pepipoo

Last year 2012

Met my girlfriend at cardigan fields in Leeds (like a centertainment area vue cinema nandos etc)

Both drove there (straight from our works) and parked both our cars in evening. One of us "left site" to get some cash (over road is cash machine) and One of us went to vue and restaurants to see what to watch and where to eat.

On returning back to the one who went to cash machines car there was a ticket!!!!!

One of us opened it and it said that they saw one of us leave site and have to pay £60. Or 100 if not within 14 days or so.

We were gutted esp the mrs and we were there for well over hour trying to figure out what to do, even looked for parking attendant. We didn't go for food or film in the end as we didn't feel like it as in put off.

January 2013

Doing bit of reading online came to pepipoo and said most people ignore and to ignore letters unless court summoning. We chose to ignore n do research.

1st letter came through door saying now must pay £100 must not ignore! That they have evidence of one of us leaving site (will this be photo or video)

Again ignored

February 2013

Received court proceedings letter saying don't ignore this now pay £120 immediately! Failure to pay can go to bail lift action and doorstep action. Fees in court could be £325. All on supposed fancy paper with the weighing scales printed in faint behind the letter. From Court Proceedings Limited London .....sound familiar?

Have to admit the letter did its job and worry us.

My questions are:

Has anyone ignored beyond this letter?
Do they have CCTV footage stored of one of us leaving site and ready to show in court to judge Judy?
Do they have a photo of one of us leaving and entering site?
Do they have evidence of one of our other cars and us walking around?

Be very nice to hear from you and get your thoughts. Will happily update when I receive anything else as I'm willing to go all the way.

I have not responded to them in anyway I'm just keeping the letters

Ticket was issued by UKCPS ltd

Tickets so far:

Ticket on windscreen £60 fine pay within 14 days
Letter through post £100 fine pay within 14 days
Court proceedings limited London £120 or court can be £325...

Thank you very much guys hope this helps you as well

Same advice as you got on pepipoo really:

    http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showtopic=76654&st=20&start=20

Posting that link so the others here can see that sign picture you posted (since you can't post pics here yet but can on pepipoo).

IGNORE the whole scam and just refer to the 'PPC letter chains' thread (look at the OLD pre-October photo gallery of threatograms, not the post October ones as there are not many yet for obvious reasons).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Could you imagine if Court Proceeding ltd actually took someone to court. The judge would have a field day.

They can't go anywhere near court. They are only a DPC. They would have to refer the case back to their sister company UKCPS.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

I seem to recall they are not even a debt collector as they have no CCA licence AFAIK. They are a trading name of the PPC aren't they?
