Struggling with Unstable Forum

Recently i am getting alot of errors on the MSE forum, i get either a

Content Encoding Error

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression.

Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

or the page loads junk

The problem is getting worse and appears on in Firefox, Opera and IE, but refreshing the page tends to work after 2 or 3 refreshes. The error occurs about 1 in 6 pages

This problem only happens on here and never on other websites
is this just me or are others been affected

Hi maddocks2379 yes I seem to be getting errors recently too lets hope someone on here can help. I scan regularly and dont seem to have any infections. regards fearn

I'd been meaning to ask.

Last 3 or 4 days I have been getting annoying intermittencies in mse access via my i-pad. Sometimes get 'Safari cannot find' etc. I don't seem to be getting this on other sites. When I do get through the site is often a halfway thing. E.g. Smilies may not be visible, page layout is a primitive version, or there is a lot of text version of the site before I get to the forum I'm looking for (which is mostly Discussion Time ) and other abnormalities. I am not getting this on my computer access, well maybe a bit of disturbance, sometimes site briefly not reachable. Perhaps there is a different strength of device connection? (both connected wirelessly to adsl and in same room).

I know its been a while, but i found the source. AVG 2013 is having issues and is causing a few issues. They are releasing a service pack but have advised to reinstalling 2012 until then. I reinstalled 2012 and its working perfectly.
