Lenovo Thinkpad Edge E330 - 4 in 1 media card reader?

Purchased the above recently and it states it comes with a 4 in 1 media card reader. Only I have an MS Pro Duo and when you put it in the slot you lose it (the hole is that big!). Am I missing some thing here (a part or doing some thing wrong?). I rang Lenovo Tech Support and the guy at the other end sounded Indian and didn't understand what I way saying. Any help would be appreciated.

4-in-1s usually read SmartMedia, CompactFlash, SecureDigital and MMC.

MemoryStick is a propietry Sony thing that nobody other than Sony care about, so it's unlikely to be supported in that card reader.

I can understand what you are saying but then the Tech Spec for this model states the 4 in 1 media card reader is compatible with SD, MMC, MS and MS Pro. I thought MS Pro was the same size as MS Pro Duo?

Memory Stick Duo and Memory Stick Pro Duo are the same physical size, but both are smaller than Memory Stick and Memory Stick Pro.
From Wiki...

A simple adapter allows Memory Stick Duo to be used in devices designed to accept the original Memory Stick form factor.

Looks like you need one of these...

Thanks wealdroam. I purchased one of those adapters and received it today funny enough, but it doesn't work! It's a very tight fit and is not recognised when used. I guess I will have to go and buy a USB adapter instead.
