I just copied this from their Q&A page.

    http://www.ipgvip.com/faq/

    Are VIP tickets refundable?
Every IPG VIP ticket comes with a seven day satisfaction guarantee so if you are not happy with your purchase you can get a refund within seven days of purchasing the tickets. To apply for a refund, simply write to IPG at 57 Broadway Court, Wimbledon, London, SW19 1RG. Refund requests must be done through the post and please include your full details, vouchers and tickets. Please make sure that you send your refund request with the correct postage to ensure your letter arrives within seven days of purchase. If we do not receive the letter in time, you may not be entitled to a refund. Using a traceable postal service with a tracking number is recommended as you will be responsible for the items until we receive them at our above address.

IPG processes refunds on behalf of independent IPG resellers so they can incur admin fees and can take up to 21 working days to go through. Please note that once this 7 day refund period has passed, the terms and conditions of the ticket will constitute a legally binding contract and it will not be possible to refund the cost of your tickets. We also reserve the right to return items that have been sent to us outside of the seven day period

Not sure if your son bought VIP but it may help.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Those are the ones, but looking on MSE and other places, others have tried to get refunds using this process with no luck. I'm fully prepared to go via money claim if necessary though to get it all back if they don't cough up.

They really need to make it clear when selling these tickets that there is a further 9.99/head to book and you have to be there all day, from 9.15 until the end of the day:4pm to get the free balls as the voucher is only valid for the last game of the day. You can't just turn up at anytime, use the balls and go.

Delta force had already quoted me a party price that included 3 games with 200 balls each for £9.99 per head inclusive of everything. I just hadn't gotten around to booking it & DS thought he was doing me a favour by getting it for 62. They did not explain about the further 9.99 per head.

Anyway it's moot now as I've sent it all back fully trackable with a letter explains that I expect the money back within 21 days as stated on their website or further action will be taken. Spoke to bank and they are happy to do a visa debit charge back if I have no success.

Ahh okay, I just thought I'd misunderstood. Good luck getting the money back!

The OP mentions they were going to proceed with the original offer until this came up, from the way i grasp it the OP is looking to get their money back and proceed with the original offer

On the face of it.....Contract with a minor and hidden charges weren't disclosed.

but the above doesn't really matter as the contract includes a 7 day refund clause which the OP (or rather their son) is invoking
  • How was it miss sold?

Because if the OP's son was not told all of the facts regarding the amount that would be required to be paid at a later date then the company concerned has commited an offence under the "Consumer protection from unfair trading regulations"
  • This is a regular problem, I found this video - of IPG and Delta Force in australia, it seems they have been hit hard by these scams too!
Have a look at the news report about the IPG tickets
