URGENT PC help required - powerpoint

I'm using a Powerpoint with Boardworks (interactive thing) that worked just fine until my PC with windows 8 did an update, and now my presentation (for an interview next week!!!) just crashes!

I can open any presentation without boardworks, but the boardworks one will only open in "safety" mode, then when you click the bit that says "enable editing", it just crashes and shuts PowerPoint down.

Any suggestions?

ps - I am SO stressed right now. I have pretty much every spare 30 minutes of my waking hours planned, so can't afford downtime! Oh, and I have a stroppy teething toddler to contend with too!

Do you have an earlier copy of the file? Sounds a little like corruption to me.

I don't want to cause distress but you did have backup copies right? Maybe emailed it to yourself or something?

Depending how patient you are, you could scour the event logs to find the name of the update and then remove it via the add/remove programs.

Here is a restore guide, make sure to copy the file to a USB or sky drive or even email it just to have a spare copy.
