anyone techy know how to fix laptop keyboard settings? dont know what i done but back sp ace is 4 , delete dont work , enter is: \
0 4]3 half the other keys are ding weird things!! help!! please!! sorry for errors! settings are on uk , tried system restore... thanks

Download the drivers from the manufacturers website.

If KB is set to UK, what language settings?

Try a USB keyboard.

look in control panel, clocks language and region, language is the one you want and make sure all are set yo uk english and the default is also uk english.

Failing that - just check that the NumLk key hasn't been inadvertantly turned off.

1st need to check if its a hardware issue or a software issue

1) whilst in windows plug in an external usb keyboard - if that works fine its most likely something to do with the laptop keyboard.
Could be a loose connection with the ribbon cable (easy to check), keyboard could be faulty or something could have spilt on keyboard (easy to replace/clean), or worse, the motherboard (possibly !!!!!!ed)

2) If USB keyboard has same problem (I'd wager not), load the bios screen (usually del or f2). Trying moving around the options and select one by pressing enter (do not save changes and restart, for example). If bios registers the 'enter'key, then it indicates a windows driver issue or some other setting not mentioned in previous posts. Malware?
