The OP did however present himself as a business making a purchase.My take on this is that OP is indeed a consumer. He is buying workwear for his own personal use as an employee.
As such, exclusions of branded goods such as Dickies from DSRs is wrong. And the supplier's statement that they only supply to trade customers is in error because they did in fact supply OP who is plainly a consumer. If they did not want DSR's to apply, they should have refused to supply.
One of the compulsory boxes in the ordering process is "company name".

I'm not so sure. TS have said that they consider it possible for a consumer to buy as a business/trade. Especially if they only accept trade and make this clear. Even if the consumer is indeed purchasing an item for their own use and not to use in the course of business.
However I'm not so sure it is clear. Why include the bit about supplying to consumers/DSRs and then state they are trade only? They're either trade only or they're not.You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0
