Advice following car accident

  • I've just been speaking to my partners brother in law to see who was dealing with his injury claim, and he said his wife (policy holder) contacted Churchill about his injury claim who then forwarded them on to the same solicitor that is dealing with our case. Maybe this is standard, i don't know but we were definitely told 2 different things regarding the legal cover for named drivers but both ended up with the same solicitor.
  • I can't believe your insurers haven't been falling over themselves for punt you onto their preferred solicitor for an injury claim as they will earn in excess of £900 as a referral fee out of the solicitor, legal cover or not.

You don't need any legal cover to pursue an injury claim where the other party is at fault.

This is true. Churchill told me over the phone (which i now have in a letter as well) that they will receive in the region of £1000 from 'my' solicitor.

I had a car accident back in March, the other driver accepted liability and my car has been repaired. Today I've had a phone call from somebody from Advice Line Uk stating that there's a fund of £2200 per person in the car that they'll claim for me free of charge, as this is a fund that is there for people who have had an accident, only the insurance companies don't tell you and they are a feedback company working with the insurers. All I have to say is that my children and I experienced discomfort after the accident and I medicated myself and my children, and then we are guaranteed £6600 in total, of which they don't touch a penny. It sounds too good to be true and I cannot find any information about them on the Internet. I don't know if they are genuine or dodgy. Help please.

Rubbish. Find a personal injury solicitor yourself and go through them.

Have a look for EasiDrive, they were good for me.

I'll give you a clue; it's the second one.
