Need help regarding possibly looking at a PPI claim

Yes, but find out the address to send the complaints to. It won't be your local branch, who would have to forward it to the correct department possibly causing delay.drewhughes wrote: »Ok so just basically fill out 3 separate questionnaires and send to our local Yorkshire bank branch?0 -
Hey guys,
1st Claim
Just a bit of an update, I've just received an offer on one of the loans for £1887.
2nd Claim
One of them is from 2002 and apparently they don't keep records that far back for them to investigate. Now my question is could we go back to the bank and get our records reprinted or is it going to be the same there as it is at Clydesdale head office? Because I dont think we have the original loan agreement, and would be a shame for us to miss out on a potential claim, all because we haven't got the loan agreement.
3rd Claim
And the 3rd and final claim I think they have point blank rejected it because they say we were fully aware of what we bought, and knew it was optional, and that we were aware that we could cancel. So I think this claim maybe a no go?0 -

It makes no difference whether it is central or local.Because I dont think we have the original loan agreement, and would be a shame for us to miss out on a potential claim, all because we haven't got the loan agreement.
It has nothing to do with having the original agreement. It has to do with evidencing whether PPI existed on it or now. They are saying they have insufficient records to investigate it. That would suggest they either cant find details of that loan or they cant find whether you had PPI or not. Do you have anything on file to show you had PPI?And the 3rd and final claim I think they have point blank rejected it because they say we were fully aware of what we bought, and knew it was optional, and that we were aware that we could cancel. So I think this claim maybe a no go?
You havent told us your complaint reasons? Was is it sold factual/provable complaint reason (e.g.ineligibility, financial need etc) or was it a wishy washy unprovable allegation (e.g. told you had to have it etc)?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). I keep seeing posts including the word Op / op
I only know op as old pensioner
Seems a bit harsh calling someone that when you can't possibly know???0 -

Hey guys,
Just got another update for you, and need a bit of help as well
With regards to my last update, we managed to find out original loan agreement and send it off. We have received an offer from yorkshire bank, but im a little unhappy with it. il scan in the documents so you can see.
So these are 2 loans that they are on about here and I think 1 is obviously the one im claiming about and the other which is our first successful claim, from what ive read and understood they are deducting our first claim from this one which are 2 totally separate loans, and from what i would of thought 2 separate claims.

What do you think guys? is this right? or should i escalate the claim to the ombudsman?
Cheers

They have paid the redress in full for both, a claim must have been made on one PPI and they have taken this amount off, I would accept, you will get no more by taking this to FOS as you have full redress.0
