  • I'm pretty sure they don't sell anything that goes inside a computer.

    Searches:
    • sata - zilch
    • serial - a book and a DVD
    • cable - some relevant stuff; mostly clothes.

Sounds more like something you would buy at Hi Di Hi, or your local computer store, assuming you don't want to shop on line.

According to the manual (on the gigabyte site), it looks like it comes with 4 SATA cables.
2x 3gb ones that are suitable for optical drives and older hard drives (and probably newer ones that are connected to the SATA 2/3GB ports), and two 6GB cables.

Motherboards almost always come with at least 2 cables for Hard drives, usually 3-6 depending on the model and how many drive interfaces it has.

    [edit]
If you've never built a PC before, please read the manual and have a look at some of the online guides before doing anything, and remember to put the spacers/risers in the case for the motherboard to sit on! (it's scary the number of people who try bolting the motherboard straight to the case, rather than on the risers, and that can kill the motherboard).
