I recently decided to take charge of my finances before it got too bad, Currently in just under 3k debt. But in a well paying job and all will be gone with plenty for me to spare. I have a company that keeps harassing me offering me loans i don't want, don't need, didn't ask for! I'm getting 2 or 3 text messages a day, plus calls, but i always miss the calls due to me being at work! The txts say to "opt out " visit their site, but when i do, it's always down, tried calling them back, but just get a machines asking me to call back later.. I don't want or need any credit from a dodgy company. I have no idea how they got my number. anybody had any experience with them?

If the domain quoted in the email here is the correct one, then might be a valid contact to email to get them stopped?

Hi Fermi, thanks for the reply, and the effort in finding that info, but i have tried all that. Their complaint department just rings out, and no one replys to emails. It is ultimately frustrating, especially when you are expecting a text from a special someone and look down to see it's some areshole money lending company!0

Androids certainly do have a blacklist as well as (I seem to remember, a white list) setting.
As for stopping this more permanently, a stiff letter copied to the OFT might be helpful.
I had a persistent caller from the USA who simply wouldnt leave me alone. It wasnt until I pointed out that there was no way in the universe they were ever going to get any business out of me and that I would take pleasure in continuing to waste their time on every single call they made, that they finally gave up. I had to be quite forceful though.Debt Free! Long road, but we did it

leave your phone next to the stereo (or in some headphones if you'd like to protect your neighbours) and whack some Metallica on full blast. or do what my husband does and just swear profusely at them and walk off leaving the phone on the side.Mortgage-Free WannabeMortgage at start [20/6/12]: £151,800/MFD Jun 2035 (age 65)Mortgage now [5/11/14]: £139,212.14/MFD Oct 2029 (age 59)Personal Library 2014:starmod: Read in 2014: 57/60 :starmod: In Progress: 2 :starmod: Books In: 94 :starmod: Books Out: 12 :starmod: TBR: 847 :starmod:0

l am too sick of those cold calls, one with ppi, says l am owed over three thousand pounds, l thought l connect the number l ask if this call is free when someone answer it Yes! Oh great l asked if l would be getting xxx number of pounds l ask when are they sending it by cheque or bank transfer ( as if l give them my bank account, NO!!!!. They then hang up the call. l maybe come up with other options, maybe one day they get the message l am not interested at all.0

Just like punk84 I too was receiving calls from Aspire Money and did not want them to call me back. I e-mailed jpillay@aspiremoney.co.uk requesting why they were contacting me and where they got my details from. Withing minutes I got a response from Aspire providing me with details of my enquiry. I was reluctant at first to use them but eventually did and managed to receive the loan I was looking for. I'm sure if you send an e-mail to the above address, they will look into your concerns.0
