I want to set Googlemail as my new homepage

I use IE. Whenever I set the page as my new homepage it will remain for a couple of days then for some mysterious reason will revert to my previous homepage which was the BTInternet homepage

Can anybody help or explain why this is happening

it may be because your ie was suplied by bt & that is reverting the home page. you could see if another browser has the same problem. Then i would uninstall the bt software that is not directly related to the modem.

No IE wasnt supplied by BT but I had thought it maybe a problem with the BT Pay as you go dial up software that is on my pc.

I no longer need this so will uninstall and see what happens.

Anybody else got any other theories ?

Can you tell us what anti-spyware programs you have installed?

Its a company laptop so am lumbered with IE unfortunately.

I use firefox on my own PC and havent had any probs

Anti Virus is via Symantec Anti Virus Corporate Version & Symantec Firewall too
