Nottingham BS launch 10% Childrens Regular Saver

According to Moneyfacts, Nottingham Building Society have launched a regular savings account for children from birth to 16 years old. It pays 10% interest on monthly deposits between £10 (min) to £100 (max).
- The maximum total investment is £1,400.
- The account is operated via the branch and account holders are issued with a passbook.
- The account must be held in trust for the child.
- The account matures on 16.05.2008 when it is converted into a Young Savers account, currently paying 4.60%.
- Access to the money is instant, but according to Moneyfacts, withdrawals are not permitted until after the account matures.
- Interest is paid yearly on the 1st May.
**At the time of making this post, Nottingham still had not uploaded the account to their website. I've been told that they will do this shortly.
