Easter Holiday

Hi, We're a family of 6 (4 kids aged 14-9) and want to go away somewhere at Easter "abroad" for a bit of warmth - not necessarily looking for HOT. We've spent the last 14 years more or less in this country - camping or similar, so anything with a roof will be luxury for us!
I havent done a package since I was 18 and can't bear the thought of it - but I just cannot figure the best places to start thinking of for a bit of beach, bit of culture - the kids want a mixture of both.
We've probably got £2,000 tops for between 7-10days. We've been to Spain a few times (to visit family) and want to have a new adventure.
Ideally, a flight from Stansted - 3/4 hours - self-catering apartment or similar and preferably no hire car as that always cripples our budget !
Any help/advice would be very gratefully received. Thanks.

I went to Tunisia last Easter (around 9th April) and although it was sunny it wasn't particularly hot. Turkey might be warmer.
By next week, the first Easter week will come under the heading of "late deals" (6 weeks ahead) and you might get a better price then. Take a look at the Thomas Cook website.
Depending on price, I would be tempted to suggest All Inclusive - again have a look for late deals through First Choice.
Jet2 are still have some free child places for Easter as well.0 -

For Costa del Council estate head to the Canaries/Benidorm/Majorca etc....
