Buying a New Build home

Hi, I was wondering what to offer when haggling for a new build? The list price is £230,000 and they say they need to settle by end of march for annual figures.

Any help would be great fully received, this will be the biggest thing I ever buy!

    Friend of mine got a house for £199k on at £249K if thats any help.

    It depends on lots of things, if there are lots of other left to sell then ask for a bigger discount. If there is only one left you won't get the same deal. If you have a big deposit then you will be a more attractive buyer than a first time buyer trying to get a 90% LV deal
