Republic - online order not delivered/dispatched

I'm not especially asking for advice here, just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem.
The Valligirl placed an online order with Republic earlier this week; should have been delivered today; so far nothing.
Haven't had a 'your order is on its way' email. They've taken the money though.
Their website has since closed.
Is this parcel likely to have been dispatched?
I assume not.

It's in administration, you will need to try a charge back or s75 claim if over £100, because apart from that you will go on the list of creditors.0

I'm in the same boat, bought stuff online (under the value of £100) yesterday.
I've read from an employee (nothing official) that they are trying to dispatch all orders but may be behind.
Also you may be able to claim your goods by visiting the dispatch depot and collecting them yourself?
Failing that you become a creditor and I'm not sure what the proper channels are to put a claim in.
I plan on going into the store at the weekend with my receipt and trying to claim my goods from instore. Yes; I know the company is in administration - but I wondered if anyone know WHEN they stopped dispatching (if indeed they have). I have every intention of initiating a chargeback. Just attempting to check that it won't have been dispatched first.

The chargeback won't be able to be actioned till 15 clear days after debit, for non reciept.
Remember folks.
Credit or Debit card makes no diffrence.
Also neither does the fact the company is no longer trading.
Interesting to note that website was still taking orders @ 08:30 on 14/02.

Thanks for that - I *think* DD ordered on the 12th - I have the confirmation email. As I have never initiated a chargeback before I will wait (was going to read up this morning so you have saved me a job, thanks).
As it stands we always used to get dispatch confirmation emails; haven't had one so I assume it's not dispatched.

What is a chargeback?, I ordered 3 dresses on 12/02/13

Chargeback is when you have paid for something and not received it. The finance provider (ie credit card company) is also liable so you can claim the money back from them.
(put simply)

I read that the couriers were refusing to deliver because they are in administration and will not get paid.
I had a £10 credit on my account so I ordered last thing at night. It said the order had gone through but I did not get a confirmation email so I am not expecting to receive anything anyway now.0 -
I had a giftcard and heard one day that they would be announcing that they were going into administration the following day, so i went online and spent the gift card...had my confirmation email and it was supposed to arrive Thursday, but i have had nothing.
I replied to my confirmation email today asking if they were still honouring orders that were placed before administration and i have had the standard reply of "we will deal with your query within 4 days".... so watch this space!
I will update this forum if i hear anything - but dont hold your breath!0
