Hey guys,
I'm pretty clued up when it comes to pcs, build my own desktops etc.
Anyhoo, i'm after a tablet for my other half. After looking around the best value for money thats pretty future proof seems to be the galaxy note 10.1.
Before christmas this was going for sub £300 i believe. Any idea why its around the £400 mark? Just wondering if there are any sales coming up? She's happy to wait for it if it means saving £100.
Cheers guys.

Rumours of a new Note 8 inch in May but doubt that will affect 10.1 price .
Price war pre Christmas and possibly a bit of extra discounting from the manufacturers to fuel the Android boom .
I paid £318 less £50 Samsung cashback = £268 .
£400 would have looked harder at Nexus 10 and even IPad . But might well have said not at that price .

isn't the 10.1 supposed to be better than the nexus 10? As well as looking better (imo) its also more powerful and scores highly in the benchmarking. Plus it has an sd card slot... Far cheaper to get bigger spec.
Are you enjoying the tablet?0 -
Not sub £300 but £317.99 at 02 shops.

Hi,
Was this the Note 10.1 or the Tab 10.1? Seems an excellent price for the note. The link also takes me to the Note 10.1 page but the price is now £359.99. I rang my local O2 store and they confirmed this price, but she also said this was just a new thing for them to be selling tablets now.
Anyone know of any better deals out there for the Note 10.1?
Many Thanks
