Nexus 7 and backup ability?

Hi folks,

I intend to get around to buying a nexus 7 32gb tablet in near future and have a quesiton as to its backup ability when I install an app called "all in one toolbox" on it. (thanks to the person who told be about it on here)

I like to backup all my apps and on my present cheap tablet I have the above app. It will backup everything to the SD partition on my tablet and then it will be able to do a batch install, should I ever have the need to restore table to factory conditiion (at least thats the way it ia meant to work anyways)

1 Since the nexus will only have one partition of 29 gb I believe will it be possible to transfer the "all in one toolbox" backup folder onto my computer, then if I ever need to do a reset just copy it from computer back to nexus, so that it can do its app restore?

Or

2 Is this not possible since the backup folder will be on same partition as where the apps are going to be reinstalled to again?

Thanks for any help
