Spraying - Help Please!

Hello

We received upsetting news that our much loved cat has kidney disease and he only has a few months left with us. Medically he is under the care of the vet and I am not looking for advice in relation to his treatment.

We have been reassured that he is not in any pain however he has started to spray in the house (a lot). On the vets advice we bought feliway to help reduce any stress or tension that he may be experiencing.

What I would like advice on is how to remove the smell from the areas already affected? In the room he has sprayed in mainly we can't find the exact spot but the smell is overwhelming. Please advise me what to do to clean the room and remove the smell.
