Toothache - best option for remedy to take on holiday?

I know! Not a great deal I can do about it. It's only a 5.5 hour flight so could be much worse.
Not much I can do really except grin and bear it if I do have toothache then.
Really annoying as on my last holiday, I was ill for all of it (virus not teeth!) so was determined to have a good relaxing holiday this time. Typical of my luck.0 -
I'm really suffering with my wisdom teeth at the moment, oragel is pretty good, numbs it completely but doesn't last for longer than about 20 minutes. Although it is a dentisty-type numbing feeling.
Never thought I'd say this but....I can't wait for the dentist tomorrow, I've been alternating ibuprofen and co-codamol and I'm still in pain
