Flowers havent arrived, even though I paid extra for delivery before 2pm

Did you pay via a credit or debit card? If so I'd just phone and say you're not happy with their previous response, the flowers were not delivered as per agreed and time was clearly of the essence so you're not happy paying anything - they didn't do what they had clearly agreed to do, so no payment is due. If they won't budge, tell them you'll raise a chargeback.0
