Is it just me or is this website permanently down..everytime I try and access my account... I get this.. >:( >:( >:(

You're not alone... Have you managed to sort this problem out yet? I phoned egg, they told me to:

1 - Delete temp. internet files
2 - Go to Tools/Internet Options/Advanced and tick 'Do not save encrypted pages to disk'
3 - Always type 'www.egg.com' into address bar, don't use bookmarks

But to no avail...

So it's not just me then!

I phoned up when I couldn't activate my card online because I was getting the message chowster described and they said 'the site has been down..but it's fine now' - that was three days ago >:(

They said my card was now activated but I keep getting emails asking me to activate it ??? Haven't attempted to use it just in case. The password that I was pretty sure I had selected is not been accepted - even though they confirmed what it was on the phone. Will try phoning later or tomorrow and see how far I get.

I get this problem a fair bit. I posted about it ages ago. Very annoying. the money manager is naff too. I can't always access my other accounts from it and I've been cut off/pc crash on more than one occasion.

And try making a payment or something. Its very confusing as to what you have to do. You never really know if the transaction was complete. The page froze up on me once whilst I was doing a £800 transfer so I logged back in and redid it. Of course the payment went through twice!

Think I must be one of the lucky ones then and have never had any problems with the Egg site - fingers crossed from now on!

All these years on, its 2008, and the egg.com website still goes dead/down from time to time. Its dead tonight....again. Been trying on and off for the past 3 weeks :mad: . Eveytime I want to log on I get 'no page found' all the time. You think the amount of money this bank has they would have sorted out the problem by now.

could be you... i had no problems today and just tried it again and mines cool.

Is anyone else experiencing current problems with loading the egg website. I haven't been able to access accounts for two days now - and eventually phoned and after a conversation which was like pulling teeth was told that they had a problem yesterday but didn't know if it was fixed yet!!!!
