Help - Not sure if CDR is working

I have a Dell D630 Laptop, It plays CDs and DVDs okay but it dosen't seem to recognize when I load a blank dvds ready to burn. Haven't tried blank CDs yet. Is it possible drivers need changing or uninstalling and installing again?

No worries. I am sure I have written DVDs on this laptop before. Ran that fix but did seem to resolve problem.0

No. Think I got it wrong. Found a blank CDR and it burnt perfectly. User Error

Glad it's sorted. Device manager will give you the exact model so you can google it to make sure if you want.0
