Can you claim for losses while on the sick

I suggest you leave the moaning about other people to another site, I'm sure you'll get a receptive audience on the Daily Mail.
To get back to your original question, which it was reasonable to ask if you're not aware of how sick pay works, you can get more information from the SSP and Taking sick leave sections of https://www.gov.uk/browse/working/time-off
Thanks very much im not moaning just like debating what others say.
A quick calculation ive paid around 61,000 income tax since ive been working, and around 53,000 NI (these are quick calculations so could be a few thou out)
My wife has paid around 37,000 tax and 31,000 NI.
There are some people who get that per year doing nothing, im entitled to answersAll the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.0 -
Your son was not forced to take a job that does not pay sick leave.
Why on earth do you deserve answers?0 -

Lol, you say your not moaning, but then go on to work out how much tax and NI you and your wife have paid and complain people get it for doing nothing. :rotfl:
I'm not saying there aren't people who know how to play the system but cases of families getting that much are very rare. If you don't like it give up working and try to live on benefits.0 -

My son had to take what was available, when he left the army at 23 (7 years service) and walked into the job centre, he filled in forms to see what he could do, well surprisingly nothing was available for a missile launcher. Actually I couldn't understand why Wetherspoons, or Tesco, or Johnsons the butcher didn't want a missile launcher, he would have looked good sat on their roof all cammed up.
Actually been in the military he was military focussed so had to follow that direction. So he 'had' to take a job as a security guard in a supermarket otherwise his kiddy would not get fed. He could have, no actually he could not have signed on and claimed hundreds of pounds of benefits because like his father has standards and prideAll the big powers they've silenced me. have some more.....
at 44 I don't think I could tackle any more kids, ive got 1 grand child now who's blossoming nicely. Plus my tackle isn't working.
I'm not unique in the way im thinking, you only have to read the Daily Mail there are millions in the UK that are waiting for the revolution. We all know who these people are!
Here is a little story.
I have a brother whos 42 never ever worked in his life, does not want a job. Fair enough hes never been out of the country never seen or done anything in life. Has no direction, ambition or focus, but he's not bothered, as long as he can play his playstation all night have a few cans and a fag, get his rent paid and a little extra for his fake illness live on chips and egg most days have a few kids to various women have them taken into care have a few more. wonder the streets aimlessly buy a few playstation games, buy a few crooked things have a few beers and a fag, stay up all night sleep all day. Day in day out. same old same old. But that's what he wants to do, if the job centre callhim, and that's not very often, play the sickness card and be left alone. Who is going to employ a 42 year old who has never had a job? few cans few fags, chips and egg.
That's not unique either. Bring on the revolutionAll the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.0 -

Says it all really, Daily Mail, :rotfl:.
Instead of sitting waiting for the revolution whilst reading the Daily Mail and getting into an impotent fury about stuff, why don't you do something about it, try for public office, change the system from the inside.
As for your brother, that's not living, it's existing and if you think he is defrauding the benefits system then report him and have him investigated, after all you have your "standards and pride".0
