About how close do you reckon the truck was while you were on the gatso lines, reckon it would show up in the shot?

Yea, that is an advantage I guess! I can't even remember seeing any gasto lines! I was paying more attention to the lorry than the road markings as I went under the gantry so I'm not 100% sure there were any. Some don't appear to have any lines or even a camera.

I don't know, sometimes the mirrors can be deceiving as to how close they really are but I definitely couldn't see the cab...

If they were so close that the lorry windscreen was above the view in your rear view mirror, i.e. your entire rear windscreen was filled with a DAF or Scania logo, then there is almost no chance that your number plate would be visible to a gantry mounted camera.

Ahh okay. I will just have to wait and see. It's nearly been a week. Thanks for the help!

Nothing came through and it's been 3 weeks nearly! I'm guessing they weren't turned on or the bracket really is set quite high!
