Problems with boohoo

We have had a couple of issues with boohoo, firstly we placed an order for Saturday delivery which arrived a few days early, slung over the fence on a rainy day. To their credit boohoo did refund delivery cost.
We have since had to return 2 of the items which instead of using their free post service we sent special delivery to make sure that it got back to them before the 14 day cut off for refund and to make sure it was adequately tracked for proof of delivery.
They e-mailed us yesterday to say they are refunding us £18 which we thought was strange as that only accounts for one of the items we sent back. We asked them when the second one would be refunded to which they replied they had only received one item (both items had been sent in the same package!!)
They have now asked us for a photo to prove we sent two items back. Who has ever taken a photo of a package to prove what they have sent it back? I am going back to them to see if the package has been damaged and then maybe claim against the post office but I am not sure where i stand on this one.
As it stands they are refusing to refund saying they didn't receive the item. From my perspective they shouldn't have received one item without the other.
If they are being really funny about this do i have the option of chargeback using the credit card company. The initial order was £120.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers

Do you have a certificate of posting? Or any receipt that show's the weight of the package?0
-
will check if it has the weight on the postage receipt. we definitely have the proof of postage.0

Even if it doesn't say the weight, you should be able to match up the price you paid to a rough weight on special delivery. As it is a secure service, ask if there were signs of the package being previously opened. Ask what the weights were of the two items, or see if you can google the weight and present the cost of special delivery for the weight as there's no way you can "overpay" at the post office for a whole extra item.
N.B.
Not sure what the items were, but if they were light things, like say a pair of socks, or similar, you might not be able to rely on the weight. And remember packaging would be inclusive of the weight.0 -
it was for 2 dresses which the OH was sending back. There should be a little bit of weight to them so I am hoping the cost/info should give a bit of an idea as to the fact there was 2 packaged.

boohoo, as I am sure you have been told before you need to ask permission from the forum team to post on here. You post has been reported.0

why report boohoo for helping the op, how do you know they haven't got permission to post on here.0
-
Because all company representative posts have to have permission from MSE to post and this is always stated alongside their name.
Otherwise they could be anyone with a made up name phishing for details.0
