DWP changed my address?

Curious thing has happened over the last two weeks, First sign of anything was a letter from the council saying my housing benefit was suspended as they had been told by DWP that I have moved house. This was news to me so I phoned them to say I have not moved house and they said I would need to put in writing for them which I did. Checked last week with jobcentre that they still have the correct address for me and they had the correct address. Was supposed to have housing benefit payment on monday but was not paid, I put down to the suspension still being looked at, however same day in the post I have a letter saying the suspension is lifted and I will get payment as normal, so presume I will get double payment in a fortnight.
Tuesday was supposed to get JSA payment, did not get paid, so rang them up and they said they have the wrong address for me so have not made the payment. Went through the change of address form with them over the phone even though I have not changed address and it was them who had altered the address for me on their system somehow. So I have had no payments at all this week when I should have got just under £300 as per the last 5 months now and will have to wait a fortnight before I get any further payments.
To make matters worse this week I am changing over from contribution JSA to income JSA so no doubt this will cast further delays and confusion on the whole process. The council have already sent me a letter today to say they are suspending the housing benefit only 2 days after lifting the suspension as my jsa expires on thursday and I have to prove what income I will have after this date, before lifting the suspension again.
I asked the jobcentre if I need to do the form last week so they had it in place for Thursday this week to change it over but they said no need I can give them the form this week and as it is a fortnight before my next payment it would all be sorted by then and so would cause no delay. Obviously they did not think about whether the council would need the change over to be put in place in advance in order to avoid delay with the housing benefit.
It all makes me very suspicious that they have changed my address deliberately to delay and avoid payments as I have had no problems for the past 5 months that I have been claiming and I have not moved house or had to complete any forms during this time where they could have entered my address differently.
I now have to try and survive at least the next 2 weeks before I get any money with no food and very little petrol left to get to interviews and jobcentre appointments.

No one at the JCP would go to that effort to avoid making payments to you, they don't have the time!
It sounds like someone has similar details to yourself and the information has been entered on the wrong account. You can ask for an explanation as to what has happened if you wish to.0 -

Easily done - NINO being input incorrectly or even someone noting their own NINO incorrectly.
Or someone maliciously reporting an address change.0
