How do I get IE to open PDFs?

My Internet Explorer used to do this authomatically. Since I downloaded the new IE it isn't working.

Now I get a 'page loaded' message at the bottom of the page but I can't see anything on the screen. The only way I can read PDFs at the moment is to0 right-click save-target-as to the desktop, then open Acrobat Reader and then open the PDF from Reader.

What option do I have to click or unclick in IE?

Thank you very much!

If you go into the options in adobe reader, there is a tick box to disable IE integration, so when you click on a pdf, it opens in adobe reader instead, which works around this and other problems with IE.
Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time?

Do you have the latest version of Acrobat? It may be worth installing that and it might sort your problem.

Or (before anyone else suggests it ;) ) try Foxit as an alternative to Acrobat.
