hi,
i had a bank account and credit card with lloyds and both were closed off by lloyds tsb with 30 days notice.
i did try to find out why they have done it but did not get anywhere even after taking my case to ombudsman
now my question is , can i open a bank account with them if i wanted to because of their current offering despite the issue i had with them 4-5 years a go ?
i am not sure but maybe in the letter it said that they will no offer any future banking .... but i am just guesing
thanks

Why does it have to be Lloyds? What do you need/want from a bank account?0
-
their interest free cc and also were very happy with them
i know barclay and lots of other option are still there but it is almost like i feel i have been !!!!ed by them closing my account and want to open it again0 -
Why waste a credit search when its odds on that they will turn you down?0

If the bank closed your account there is a 0% chance they'd let you open a new one, or offer you any credit. There was obviously a reason.I work for Natwest.0

Why would you expect them to welcome you back now?0

f**k them then little mofos0

you'll get far with that attitude, no doubt0

I would just apply and see what the outcome is.

It may be that attitude, if displayed towards staff, that got the acount closed in the first place.0
