Sharpie Stain on Cream Curtain :(
ChelseaGirl
Just put up new (dry clean only) mainly cream curtains and my son has made a one inch long mark on one of them with a green sharpie pen.
I've had the curtains and matching bedding stored in a cupboard for over a year while I saved up for a new mattress so I know that the curtains are discontinued and can't be replaced.
Is there anything I can do please? I'm so upset.

Thanks for your help. The curtains are dry clean only so I will ask whether the dry cleaners can help. I scared I'll make the mark worse if I do anything too drastic. x0

What fabric are the curtains made from? I'd say acetone nail varnish remover would remove the pen mark, but I probably wouldn't recommend for man made fabrics
I find that the Vanish in wash stain remover is great for biro on fabrics, but I've never tried it on Sharpie pen! If in doubt try a tiny bit, on a cotton bud, on an inconspicuous (sp?!) bit first. Good luck! 0
